Chart it: There are many different ways to draw an animal classification system besides the tree we used here. For example, think of using intersecting circles as your model, with smaller circles (all the classes, orders, families etc.) fitting within one giant circle (the kingdom). Try to think of an ordinary object you could use to illustrate an animal classification system. Use all the different groups we used to categorize Simon. Remember, the categories will get smaller as the classification level gets more specific.
